MGM City Center Las Vegas Nevada by Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob) "It's Official"

I received another email from a company in Boston that makes brochures and does advertisement for different businesses across the country.

They contacted me several weeks ago inquiring about one of my photographs that they would like to use for a brochure for "MGM City Center" in Las Vegas Nevada. They wanted a higher resolution photograph and my permission to use the photo.

I have given them permission to use this photograph (above) for a new brochure for "City Center" and underneath my photograph will be my name and one of my web site URLs.

This photograph was taken 12-24-2009 Christmas Eve when my wife Nu Nu and I stayed at "The Aria Hotel" at City Center.

It seems the magic of Christmas helped create for Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob) an award winning photograph and chance for thousands of tourists to view Robert's work.

I will follow this post with more updates and the "Original" brochere that will parading "Vegas Bob's" photograph.

"Know when to pull the Trigger"

Know when to pull the trigger!

"Know when to pull the Trigger"

There are hundreds of thousands of people around the country that are interested in purchasing homes and the numbers are growing.

Inventory in many major cities and towns including (Las Vegas Nevada) is very low and this can really create a problem with multiple offers, bidding wars, etc.

So if you make an offer on a home that you really like, but you don't like the color, or you dislike the carpet ......

Paint it or change the carpet!

When this Spring rolls around as a home buyer you are not going to be able to be as picky as before. You need to Know when to pull the trigger!

Hesitation can sometimes only create heartache when you lose a home because you where not on your tip toes paying attention to a good deal when you see it.

I have been getting quite a few calls from people interested in Real Estate in Las Vegas, "what's going on?"

I have been getting quite a few calls from people interested in Real Estate in Las Vegas, "what's going on?"

There have been more calls and emails coming in from people interesting in looking and possibly purchasing property in Las Vegas.

Did something happen?

Why would potential buyers be contacting me in January?

Is it possible they want to get into contract before the prices go up in Spring? And prices that may not come down till Summer or Fall of this "New Year!"

I am very interesting in reading other members feedback on my questions!

The Future of FSBO's - Contract for Deeds/ Owner Financed Contracts in the coming years!

The Future of FSBO's - Contract for Deeds/ Owner Financed Contracts in the coming years!

With so many home buyers credit scores ruined due to foreclosed homes in the past it has almost become impossible to get financed from Banks & Lenders for home buyers.

FSBO's & Contract for Deeds are going to be the wave of the Future unless the Banks & Lenders find ways of helping home buyers mend there F.I.C.A./ credit scores or lower the scores which in turn lower interest rates, which in turn would give home buyers a better chance of getting financed.

And if FSBO's & Contract for Deeds are the wave of the future and what will this mean for Real Estate agents across the Globe, (problems)!

I really hate to go into 2010 on a sour note but facts are facts!

Another great way to save my important blogging material (Important)

Another great way to save my important blogging material (Important)

I am in the process of copying my stories & posts to (Localism) and putting them on one of my personal web sites for more exposure & protection.

As bloggers we have to think about all our material that has been posted to Activerain. We can copy and paste our important stories and put them into files and or copy and paste them and put them on our own web sites.

By posting our material to our personal web sites we create more exposure and direct surfers to our web sites which in turn will create more business.

We have to also think, are we going to be a part of Activerain (Forever)?

What happens is Activerain went down as a network? What would happen to all your material?

We have to think of the future and do what ever we can to (Save) & (Protect) our work!

This is my main web site where I will be posting all my important posts/ blogs/ stories and photographs I have ever posted to the Activerain network.

It will be a lot of work, but will be worth it in the long run!

Octavius Towere - Caesars Palace - Las Vegas - Nevada by Robert Swetz

Octavius Tower - Caesars Palace - Las Vegas - Nevada by: Robert Swetz (Re-Post)

I decided to re-post this blog because I was contacted from a huge news channel in New York that might be writing a story about (The Octavius Tower Project).

They asked me many questions about the work I was doing and may even us some of my photographs, I will keep my fingers crossed.

This post was first blogged to (Localism) back in 1-21-2009.

THE OCTAVIUS TOWER PROJECTOctavius Tower

350-foot, 23-story tower

665 rooms / 71 suites

Three new pool villas on second floor

Convention Center

2 levels attached to Palace Tower

110,000-square feet of flexible meeting space

263,000-square feet ballroom

New pools
Replace Apollo pool & outdoor spas with three new pools

one 1,600-square-foot invited-guest-only pool

two 1,900-square-foot pools for hotel guests, private parties, catered functions

This project expansion for Caesars is priced at over 1 billion and has had it's ups and downs as seen and read around the web.

I am working for Embassy Glass one of the oldest glass companies in Las Vegas, and we have a great crew. We are continuing to install huge glass panels around the top 21-24 floors.

Like all projects in Las Vegas, there is talk about cutting back and lay-offs.
But in the long run The Octavius Tower will continue to be built.
